Design and AdSense Ads

During the initial stages of an AdSense project, while designing the ‘look’ of your site in something like Photoshop, you should already be thinking about colour, format and placement.
How are the types of ads you’re thinking of getting going to integrate into your site? How do you want them to look? Are they going to be too prominent or they going to be too subtle?
All these questions should be seriously considered as early as possible… and yes, you should have approximate answers to these questions even in the planning stages.
Plan your website with AdSense in mind
Considering these questions early helps you avoid major design obstacles later on in an AdSense project, where you may find it difficult to place your ads in the optimum position required for the clicks.
Also having some idea of the AdSense format you’re going to use enables you to design the general layout of your website with the format in mind, leaving the required space, or ensuring that your site is flexible enough to accommodate the required changes.
It is important to always consider the impact AdSense ads will have on the general layout of your website. It is essential that when the website is built you are able to incorporate the ads confidently into your design without compromising the integrity of the design of the site.
The best approach towards planning AdSense ads into the design of your site is to build a website that is flexible to change. Don’t build a completely rigid website that doesn’t allow room for any adjustments (it’s not a good way to build sites anyway). Give your site sufficient room to encompass different AdSense ad formats.
